The Chairperson of the Public Service Commission (PSC), Professor Somadoda Fikeni welcomed the Chairpersons of the Public Service Commissions in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) during the SADC PSCs Forum held from 06-08 August 2024 in Cape Town. The purpose of the meeting was to elect the leadership of SADC Public Service Commissions’ forum and adopt institutional arrangements. The following issues were also discussed during the three-day meeting.
- Public Service Reforms in the continent, especially the SADC Region;
- SADC PSC Forum founding documents;
- Special Programmes and exploration of partnerships with Regional and International Organisations
